What Fili is

Fili is the Fila de Puentes AI assistant, free and signup-free, built for one thing: helping you cross the Juárez-El Paso border with less time in line. Ask it anything, any hour, in English or Spanish.

What you can ask

  • The live wait at all 6 bridges, by lane: standard, Ready Lane, and SENTRI. See all bridges
  • What the line looks like right now on the live cameras.
  • The best time to cross based on each bridge's history.
  • Today's exchange rate and gas prices on both sides.
  • Document requirements, SENTRI and the Ready Lane.
  • Which bridge suits you best based on where you are, if you share your location.
  • What people who just crossed are reporting, not only the official number.
  • What is near each bridge and where to eat on either side.
  • History, trivia, and how each bridge got its name.
  • Anything we have written on the blog, answered in one reply instead of sending you off to read it.

Where the data comes from

Fili reads CBP's official report, updated roughly every 5 minutes, together with each bridge's history, the reports the community sends in, and Fila de Puentes' own estimate, the same one on the homepage. Its answers are estimates, not promises: check the live wait before you leave. For the details, here is how we calculate the wait.

Frequently asked questions
